Welcome to The Function Junction and Practical OT Solutions

I believe that meaningful change happens when therapy focuses on real life. Each of us has moments where challenges arise—where function collides with everyday demands. It is at this life junction that practical, thoughtful support can make all the difference.

For these reasons, I provide in‑home, individualized occupational therapy focused on practical, lasting solutions. Sessions are tailored to the unique functional needs of children, adults, and caregivers across the lifespan.

What sets me apart from others is the combination of doctoral-level expertise, strong theoretical foundations, and evidence-based practice—paired with over 30 years of clinical experience. With compassion at the core, I empower clients to build practical skills, effective strategies, and the confidence to navigate everyday life.

In my practice, insurance companies don’t get to dictate how we approach therapy — that’s our decision.

Signs your child may have sensory processing and executive functioning issues:

The Function Junction: The crossroads where life’s challenges meet practical occupational therapy solutions—built on clinical expertise, sound theory, and evidence-based practice.

It is recognized that disability is considered a universal human experience (World Health Organization, 2020). My occupational therapy practice integrates medical philosophy and social models of disability into the present-day approach of a biopsychosocial model that emphasizes function, health, and, most importantly-quality of life.
