My dad remained fiercely independent well into his late 70s. When he suffered a stroke while I was still working, my siblings and I knew we needed someone we could truly trust—someone who would feel comfortable in his home and, just as importantly, someone he would feel at ease with.

Although we could have gone with the home health agency covered by his insurance, we chose instead to create a personalized package of visits with Dr. Nicole. She was genuine, down-to-earth, and immediately earned my dad’s trust—he could relate to her in a way that made all the difference.
